Boosting allows brands to promote your content as ads. This helps your content reach more people, increases engagement, and gives you another way to earn.
How it works
- Content selection for boosting: Post the content on your social media and submit the URL(s) to complete the job. The brand will then review your content to check if it’s suitable for advertising. Content from any job type can be selected for boosting, including single-platform or primary and cross-posting promotions.
- Boosting authorisation: If your content is selected, you’ll be guided to share a partnership ad code or approve the brand as an ad partner on the relevant social platform. Once the partnership ad code/account access is verified, you will receive the loading fee.
- Boosting earnings: Your boosting earnings are based on the preferences you will set in the Earnings Manager for the social platform where your content is boosted—whether it’s a primary or cross-posted content.
Note: When you accept a job that requires boosting, you’re agreeing to provide boosting rights to brands in case your content is selected for paid promotion.
How to set boosting preferences
Setting your preferences is mandatory to accept job offers that require boosting. Make sure you are all set to unlock more job opportunities.
Update your boosting preferences on the Earnings Manager page for each platform by selecting one of the following options:
a. Set a monthly loading fee (a percentage of your asking price), this is what you earn when a brand selects your content for boosting.
b. Boost for free and get more jobs.
Note:
- By turning on the ‘Boosting & Usage rights’ toggle, you can receive and accept boosting job offers. However, setting a boosting preference becomes mandatory after you accept the job, so the job can be selected for boosting.
- The boosting preference you set in the Earnings Manager will apply to all future jobs until you change it. You can change your boosting preference at any time, but changes won’t apply to jobs that have already been offered to you or accepted by you.
